Marriage certificate Zacheus MARSHALL and Jane QUINBY, 24d 4m 1806

Whereas Zacheous MARSHALL Son of David MARSHALL and anna his wife of the State of Connectticutt Both Deceast and Jane QUINBY Daughter of Samuel QUINBY and Ann his Wife Diceast of the town of North Castle County of Westchester and State of New York having Daklared their Intentions of Marriage with Each other Befor two monthly Meetings of the People called Quakers held at the Creek in the town of Clinton County of Dutchess and State aforesaid According to the good order used Amongst them and they having Concent of Parents and parties Concerned and Nothing Appearing to obstruct their said Proposals were Allowed of by said Meeting--

Now these are to Certify All whom it may Concern that for the full Accomplishment of their said intentions this twenty fourth Day of the fourth Month Eighteen hundred and Six They the said Zacheous MARSHALL & Jane QUINBY Appeared in A publick Meeting of the said People at Crumelbow in the town aforesaid And the said Zacheous MARSHALL taking the said Jane QUINBY by the hand did in A solemn Manner openly Declare that he took the said Jane QUINBY to be his promising through Divine assistance to be Unto her A faithfull and loving Husband Until Death seperates them or words to that Effect And then and their in the Said assembly the Said Jane QUINBY Did in like Manner Openly Declare that she took the Said Zacheous MARSHALL to be her husband Promising through Divine assistance to be unto him a faithfull and loving Wife untill Death seperates them or words to that Import and Moreover they the said Zacheous MARSHALL and Jane QUINBY the according to the custom of Marriage assuming the name of her Husband as further Confermation theirof Did then and their to these Presents set their hand and we whoes names are hereunto subscribed being Present at the Solemnization of Said Marriage And subscription have as witnesses hereunto set our hand, the Day and year above written
