August 31, 2011, was a big day at Hagadorn House:
Our building project began!
We are constructing a 28x42 building in the style of a one-room schoolhouse to house our office and archives room. This building will replace small room in the upstairs of Hagadorn House. It will be handicap accessible, more secure from loss by fire, and will provide
much-needed space for our archives room workers and our visitors.
Don Jefferds of Jefferds Construction, assisted by Larry Perry, broke ground and dug the foundation for our new office/archives room project.
David Gillette and Jeremy Roberts built footers and the foundation walls have been poured.
The Hagadorn House is also getting a facelift with a new coat of paint!
These are exciting days!
Stay tuned . . .
