Brownville School

"This is a photo taken recently of a former elementary school in

Brownville which my mother attended in 1910 or so.

I was told by Leander Adams, who used to live on Potter Avenue around the

corner, that it closed in 1927. It is located beside the Brownville

Methodist Church and is now an apartment building. There used to be a

house between the church and the school, Lee said. Does anyone know the

name of the school?" - Shirley
