Lake - At Pleasant Valley, March 20th, Andrew Lake, aged 65 years.

A father, a husband, a soldier is gone,
Only to open his eyes in eternity's dawn.
yet shall we sorrow and dry not our tears,
"tis only God's hand in the passing of years.
Canst thou not trust the custodian of time?
Believe in thy soul; in wisdom divine.
This is thy privilege; death is thy test.
Trust in thy God and sorrow shall bless.
