For over seventy-eight years the ownership of the house and large farm remained within the Losee family. Then on 7 March 1906 the property was sold at public auction to John H. Bogart and his brother James C. Bogart; James C. Bogart later conveyed his interest to his brother John H and wife Rozella Bogart. The burial ground was written into the original land deed all transfers of the property; the burial ground measured 36 feet by 36 feet. It was located across the road from the original lime stone house built in 1828 by John Losee. It 1916 the property was deeded to their daughter Bertha Bogart and
son-in-law Henry Y. Stone. During the Second World War the property was deeded
to John H. Stone and his wife and Eunice Ball Stone. The Stone family farmed
the land until 1965 when it was sold to Austin and Margaret Emory. Present
owners in the year 2001 are Dr. Robert and Mrs. Marjorie Harryman. In 1917, John Stone erected a barn over the area where Losee’s burial ground was located. The Stone family tried unsuccessfully to locate decedents. A record of those buried in the graveyard has been saved thanks to the Stone family. The barn burnt in September 1966.
