Raymond L. "Andy" ANDREWS, 82, of Bellbrook, died Thursday (October 11, 2001) at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Mae Huddleson Andrews.
Mr. Andrews was born Oct. 23, 1918, in Hooven, to Walter L. and Sylvia E. Tucker Andrews-McCarren. He served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps as an aircraft inspector and instructor. He also served with the 37th Division of the Ohio National Guard in Blanchester. He worked at the Veterans Administration with the processing and distribution section and with Greene Memorial Hospital in purchasing and receiving. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed attending numerous tractor shows, especially the Old Times Tractor shows with his family.
He is survived by a son; two daughters; three grandchildren; a great-grandson; and numerous other family and friends.
Funeral services were held at TOBIAS-CONNER & KOCH FUNERAL HOME, Bellbrook, the Rev. Blount officiating, with interment at the convenience of the family at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Blanchester. Extracted from Wilington News-Journal
Maxine H. AUFDERHEIDE, 87, of Wilmington, died Thursday (December 6, 2001) at Autumn Years Nursing Center, Sabina. Her husband, Eugene, survives. They were married in 1940. LITTLETON FUNERAL HOME, Sabina, will be serving the family. Extracted from Wilington News-Journal
