Samuel KIZER married Elizabeth RIX in 1840 in Clinton Co. and came to Grant Co., IN in 1852. William KIZER married Elizabeth LIEURANCE in 1842 in Clinton Co. and came to Miami Co.,IN in 1848. Was Philip KIZER the father of Samuel and William? Seek information on the ancestry of these KIZERs. Have researched my line back to Samuel but haven't found parents. Believe William to be brother of Samuel as Grant and Miami Counties of Indiana are joining counties. Any help would be greatly appreciated. .

I am a descendant of Thomas HIBBEN, b. 1793 who was one of the early inhabitants of Wilmington. Thomas' brother, William HIBBEN, and sisters, Pheobe Hibben LAWHEAD, Elizabeth Hibben KELLEY, Rebeckah Hibben STANTON, and Mary Hibben BURR all lived in or near Wilmington in the 1830s. Related families are: McMANIS, McFADDEN, GADDIS, CRANE, SEARL(ES), LINTON, SPRINGER, CORWIN, RADCLIFF, McLAIN, McLEAN, HIVLING, QUINN, NORDYKE, WHITE, CURRY, DAKIN, WOODRUFF, TAYLOR, MILLIKAN, LEAMING, SMITH, SABIN, and MAGEE. Charles Lyle KELLEY, b. 1804 married Elizabeth (Betsy) HIBBEN, b. 1802 in 1830. A 1972 newspaper article reported that Dr. Kelley HALE was in possession of Charles and Betsy Kelley's bible. I hope someone has information about the HALE family which in some way is related to the KELLEY's, and might known whether the bible still exists. Please contact me if you think I may have information about your family. Thanks for sharing. .

Need information on Sidney REED, b. abt 1807 who married Abraham TROUT in Clinton County, OH. 20 Sept 1826. Who were her parents? Absalom REED and Samuel REED from KY were some of the first settlers in the area. Other family members come soon after. Another researcher said Wm. TROUT m. Nancy WARMACK in Clinton Co. by Samuel REED. The list of children that I found for Samuel REED did not include Sidney REED. A list of children that I found for James REED only listed sons. David REED had 3 sons and 1 daughter, Jane. Jesse REED had 3 sons, any daughters? I do not know the children of Absalom REED or Cyrus REED. There may have been 2 Samuels. Can anyone help with this dilemma? I am also interested in any information on Abraham TROUT, b. 1806/07 and William TROUT, b. 1801. Evidently they lived in Clinton Co. for awhile. Abraham was listed on the 1830 Green Twp., Clinton Co. census and the 1840 Wayne Twp., Clinton Co. census. .

They had two children, Ephraim RYAN, b. ca 1850 Zena Louella RYAN, b. 8/23/1855, d. 11/19/1895, Portland, Jay Co. IN. My great grandmother, Zena Ryan FINCH, died when my grandmother, Hazel STEVENS, nee FINCH, (8/8/1889-4/32/1991) was 6. The 1860 census, shows Charles LEMAR, 73, as the owner of a farm in Spring Valley Township. Living with him are John LEMAR, 34, Rebecca LEMAR, 39, Latitia LEMAR, 24, Margaret LEMAR, 21, and Ephraim RYAN, age 10, and Zena RYAN, age 8. Any assitance you can give will be much appreciated.
