A Samuel SCHOOLEY appears in Liberty Twp, Clinton Co, in the 1830 census. Samuel SCHOOLEY, b. Oct 14 (16), 1819, Ohio, d. Jan 18, 1846 m. May 23, 1833 Eliza KIMBER, b. Jan 24, 1819, Virginia, d. Jun 26, 1867. Eliza appears as a widow in the 1860 De Witt Co, IL census. Children are: 1. John SCHOOLEY, b. Mar 8, 1834, d. Dec 13, 1836. 2. Robert K. SCHOOLEY, b. Dec 2, 1835, d. Dec 19, 1835. 3. Israel SCHOOLEY, b. Dec 29, 1836, m. Mar 7, 1869, to Sarah Kerr. In 1860, Israel is living with the John B. Williams family and is listed as a farmer. 4. Alfred (Alf) D. SCHOOLEY, b. Dec 9, 1839, d. Information about Christopher KINSEY and Mary KINSEY. Both were Quakers. 1830 census shows them in Union Twp near his brothers Absolam and John. Did Mary live until 1845? Christopher apparently immigrated to Illinois with his daughter, Sarah KINSEY and her husband, Jesse HIATT about 1838. Christopher died in Clinton Co., 12 April 1848, so apparently returned at some point. .

Looking for descendents of Lueasa (YORK) WALLACE or WALLAC. Her husband's given name may be Phil. She was living in Wilmington, Clinton Co. in 1929. Her mother, Martha Ann YORK, was living with her at the time. Her father, Louis (Barum?) YORK, died (according to my information) in 1928. Her YORK relatives may have joined her family, moving up from Tennessee. Her brother Jesse may have been living with them, or near-by. Her sister, Edna (married name unknown) was living in Dayton in 1929 and had children named Mary Luella, Arthur, and Paul. Her sister Ella was living in Montana at this time. Lueasa may have had a previous marriage and lived in Kentucky during 1911. .

Edward CURTIS Sr., born Va. arrived Wayne Twp, Clinton Co., in 1805 with his wife and eight children. They later had three more and his wife died in 1810. The Biographical Sketches for R. CURTIS list ten of the children. I would like to know the name of the last child. It would have been born 1809-10, which is when my Saul H. CURTIS was born. .
