Seeking info on family of Gallant LAMAR / LEMAR who were in Clinton Co., OH for the 1850 census. He was 45 b. abt 1805 MD, she is shown as S. Lemar 43 (b. abt 1807) VA. I believe they might have been the Gallent LEMER and Susan F. Williams who md. in Highland Co., Oh in 1832. Their first know child, William, was b. in 1835. Other children were: C. E. (male) b. abt 1839; Fredrick b. abt 1841; Caroline b. 1846 md. Wm. H. ALLEN; and Alphis H. b. 1850; all in OH. .

Looking for further details on this family which I am having trouble finding in the census. Ann Florence RIZER b. Sep 1849, in Clinton Co., Ohio married Amos Riley CHANCY 27 Sep 1870 in Highland co., Ohio. The LDS Ancestral File shows these children and says they were born in Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio. The children were Leonard, Hallie, Clarence, and Roy; all born between 1871 and 1883. Is anyone familiar with these people? .

On 1920 Census for Clinton Co., Green township, there was a Fred CLARK on page 53b. My grandfather was named Fred CLARK(e). He married my grandmother, Grace M. WILSON, in 1904 and they lived in Buena Vista, Ohio when my mother and her brother were born 1906 & 1907. I never knew what happened to my grandfather as he and my grandmother were divorced while my mother was young. Is there anyone who has any information on the CLARK(e) family from this area. I would appreciate anything anyone could share with me. I also found where a Fred CLARK(e) was buried in New Vienna Cemetery. Think maybe the CLARK(e) family were of Quaker faith. Thanks. .

I am looking for any information on Faulkners who lived in southwest VA (Wythe/Scott Co's) between 1790 and 1850. A David FALKNER (and spouse Celia GRIZZLE) along with David's sister Mary Falkner (and spouse William GRIZZLE) moved to IN from Scott Co. VA c.1835. David FALKNER had 21 children by two wives. After Celia died in 1856, David married Mary CLARK in 1857. He and his family eventually settled in Brown Co., TX c.1881.
