Seeking info for the following family: ROLLISON, Carey Blair (father), Virginia (dau), Albert (son--b 27 Oct 1917), David (son), Maxine (dau), Donald (son) The best info that I have is that this father came to Wilmington, OH from Canada (when?) They left Wilmington when the children were still small, probably in 1920's or early 1930's. They were reported to be very poor, and children were farmed out in foster homes in Iowa after they left Wilmington. The only birth that I have for sure is Albert, 27 Oct 1917. I am trying to help a friend find any records that might be available. I also was told that this couple had a baby that died in a fire not long before they left Wilmington; no name for that child. I am also told that the wife's (no name) father was named Jacob WEEGER/VEEGER, also from Canada. There is a mention also of a Keorose WEEGER/VEEGER, possibly moving on to SD or WIS. I am sorry for the skimpy amount of info, but it is all that I have at this point; we are just starting with this family. Can anyone help? I am not sure about records for OH; have not researched there yet. Thanks for your consideration. .

I am searching for the children of Joseph and Mary STEPHENSON. They are listed on the 1850 census for Clinton Co., Ohio. Joseph is 55 and Mary is 52. They may have had children older than Daniel, 18 and Nancy, 11. These two were living with them in 1850. I am trying to document my theory that William STEPHENSON, age 25 and living near them in 1850, is also their son. Any information or suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank you. .
