Ira APLIN


Ira Aplin Died Friday Morning

Buffalo, O., July 13.-Ira Aplin, aged 76 years, fell dead at 10 o’clock Friday morning when he was seized by a heart attack.

He apparently been in his usual health and had gone to a washhouse at the rear of the home to secure some article. His body was found a few minutes later by his daughter-in-law on the floor of the out building.

The deceased was well known throughout Guernsey County having been a resident of this community practically all of his life and was formerly sealer of weights and measures for the county.

His wife died 10 years ago, and one son, A. P. Aplin died in October 1927.

Funeral services will be held in the E. L. Church Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, conducted by Rev. Mr. Wilson and burial will be made in the Buffalo Cemetery.
