Mrs. Vernon Aplin

Senecaville-Funeral services for Mrs. Marie M. Aplin, 52, of Columbus, will be conducted Tuesday at 1:30 pm at the Meek Funeral Home by Rev. Wilbur Cash. Burial will be in Senecaville Cemetery.

Mrs. Aplin died Saturday evening [15 July 1961] in Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus following a brief illness.

Her husband, Vernon Aplin, is a former Senecaville resident.

She was born Nov. 17, 1908 in Louisville, Ky., and married Robert James Payton in 1922 who died in 1925. She was married to her present husband in 1956.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Aplin leaves a son, Robert Payton of Louisville, Ky.; and a sister, Mrs. Lula Preston of Dayton.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 pm Monday.
