Funeral services for Thomas V. Aplin, 75, retired coal miner, will be conducted Tuesday at 1:30 pm at the Scott Funeral Home by Capt. Robert T. Langford, of the Salvation Army. Interment will be in Senecaville Cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home.

Mr. Aplin, who was blind, died Sunday at 3 am at the home of his niece, Mrs. Maxine Moorehead, 1167-A Steubenville Ave. He was born in Guernsey County, a son of Uriah and Mary Shear Aplin, and spent the greater part of his life in Cambridge. He had been in failing health for some time but death came suddenly.

Two brothers, Wade of Senecaville, and George, of Indianapolis, and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret McMahon and Mrs. Bertha Purdum, both of Senecaville, survive.
