Welcome G. APLIN

Welcome G. Aplin, aged over seventy, of Valley township, near Hartford, this county, died Tuesday night, of heart disease, after an illness of three months. He was married to Mrs. Joseph Moore thirty-five years ago and was the father of four children, three of whom are living, Dr. Charles Aplin, of Carbon Dale, Ohio, Ira and Nellie Aplin, who are both at home. He was originally in the dry goods business at Hartford, later moving to the farm he occupied for the remainder of his days, adjacent to the town. He was honored with many local positions of trust in Valley township and was one of its most worthy and upright citizens. He was a member of the Lutheran church. The funeral was held Wednesday at 10 o'clock am.
