Jane DOUGHERTY BAIR

Mrs. Jane Bair died at the home of her son David Bair, Sunday evening, June 29, 1913, aged 84 years, having entered her 85th year, June 10 1913. For the past three years she was in feeble health as a result of age and a fall she received. She was the wife of Reuben Bair, deceased some years ago and since his death made her home with her son David Bair and wife.

She was the daughter of James and Susan Dougherty and is survived by two brothers, John of New Philadelphia, David of Cambridge and three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Hastings and Mrs. Eliza Bair of Freeport and Mrs. Jesse Vance of R. D. 5, Freeport, and three children, Wesley, Elijah and David of Freeport vicinity. She was a woman of strong character and a loyal Christian and all her life an active member of the church.
