George KENNEDY

George Kennedy, aged 72, passed away at 7 o'clock Friday morning at his home in Mehaffey court, after an illness of five months. The deceased was born in Guernsey county and was engaged in farming 10 miles north of here until eight years ago when he retired and moved to this city.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Amanda Howell Kennedy of the home, and four children, Charles Kennedy, Kimbolton, Mrs. Howard [Sarah] English, Cambridge; Russel of Birds Run, and Mrs. W. E. [Emma] Black of Chillicothe. Two daughters and one son are deceased. No brothers or sisters survive.

Mr. Kennedy was a member of the First M. E. church of Cambridge. Funeral services will be held at the Mt. Hermon U. P. church Sunday morning at 11 o'clock and burial will be made in the church cemetery.
