Last Will and Testament of

Joseph LITTLE

In the name of the Benevolent Father of all I, Joseph Little of the county of Guernsey and state of Ohio, do make and publish this my last will and testament, Item 1st It is my will that after my death that all my land and personal property be sold, situate in Guernsey county Ohio, being about seventy eight acres of the north West quarter of Section No.21 Township No.4, and Range two: and the proceeds disposed as follows. It is my will that all my just debts and funeral expenses be fully paid and the balance of the proceeds of the sale of my real and person property to be divided as follows: 1st I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Little one thousand dollars and household and kitchen furniture, bed and bedding. I give and bequeath to my four grandchildren of Archibald Little, deceased, Edward Little, Sarah C. Little, Mary E. Little and ______ __ Little each seventy dollars a piece and the residue of my estate to be equally divided between my daughter Isabel Elliot and my son Robert Little. I do hereby nominate and appoint Jacob Smith and my daughter Elizabeth, executors of this my last will and testament hereby authorizing and ---------_________ them to sell at private sale or otherwise, all my real estate and personal property, and no appraisement be made, also to make deed or deeds to purchasers and acknowledge the same. I do hereby revoke all and former will by me made. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this 19th day of October, 1867.

The State of Ohio, Guernsey county ss:
We, William Whitaker and George G. Boyd, being duly sworn in open court this 18th day of November, A.D. 1869, depose and say that we were present at the execution of the last will and testament of Joseph Little, deceased hereunto annexed that we saw the said testator subscribe said will and heard him publish and declare the same was of full age, and of Sound mind and memory, and no under any restraint; and that we signed the same as witnesses at his request, and in his presence, and in the presence of each other.

In the matter of Joseph Little's Will The State of Ohio, Guernsey county, ss:
                                       Probate Court. November 18th A.D. 1869.
The last will and testament of Joseph Little _____Township Guernsey county Ohio was this day produced in court for probate and at the same time personally appeared William Whitaker and George G. Boyd the subscribing witnesses hereto who being first duly sworn in open court, on oath testified _________the due execution of said will, which testimony was by the court reduced to writing and by the said witnesses respectively subscribed and was filed with said will. And it appearing to the satisfaction of the court from said testimony that said will was duly attested and executed and that the said testator at the time of the said executing the same, was of full age and sound mind and memory, and not under any restraint; It is thereupon ordered by the court that said will be and hereby is admitted to probate and that the same together with the testimony and this entry of probate be recorded.
