Looking for info on John MILLER b 9-23-1804 married Nancy EASTER b 1-8-1808. They married 12-25-1827 had 12 children, their first child C.W. Miller was born in Highland County OH. Their 4th child was my gggrandfather, Milican Miller b1-8-1834 married Sara ELSTON and had one child Ida Jane Miller b9-29-1857, she was my ggrandmother. Milican Miller was killed in the Civil War at the Battle of Kennesaw Mountian TN on 6-21-1864 he was 30 yrs. Ida Jane grew up in Johnson County KS. Any info would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU

I am looking for information on the family of Hezekiah and Delilah LITTLE who moved to Highland Co. from Hardy Co.,WVA sometime between 1850-1860. Hezekiah and Delilah with children: William, Rebecca and George residing in Paint Twnshp. in 1860. By 1870 Delilah is living with son, Adam and wife Sara and child James C. in Fairfield Twnshp. Daughter Rebecca married to William LONG living nearby. I believe that these men along with several others are working on the John WORTHINGTON farm. Delilah d. 28Oct1873 is buried in the Worthington Cemetery. Any information on this family or descendants will be most appreciated.

Jacob LAYMAN was born about 1780 in VA according to the census, died 1858 in Highland Co. His 1st wife is unknown, but married 2nd time to Mary WEST, no issue by this marriage. His children were: Ann 1802-1879, married Henry S. CLOUD; Tavner 1805-1893; Elizabeth 1806- married Wm. JOHNSON; Laodice 1810- married John D. JONES, moved to IN; Nany 1812- married Dennis SANDERS; Joseph 1808- ; Silas 1815-1903; Mary 1818- married Samuel McKINNEN; & Amos. Who were Jacob's parents, sisters & brothers, who was the 1st wife? Seeking information about Marmaduke EASTLACK (born 26 March 1774, Gloucester County NJ, died 4 Feb 1863 Highland County OH) married Abigail BEAM 3 Feb 1803 Gloucester County NJ. Received 18 May 1822 at Lee's Creek Meeting (Quaker) and is buried Clear Creek Ohio. Abigail born 5 July 1781 NJ died 21 Dec 1862 Highland County Ohio. Need parents of Abigail Beam Eastlack. Great news friends and Fellow FULTON folks. I finally got my husband to go upstairs and retrieve my old family papers from the Attic. I have my Paternal GG Grandfather's discharge papers from the Civil War, his obituary and his Father's will. I finally have more information on my elusive FULTON relatives. Here Goes:

(This info from John's will probated in Adams County Ohio on October 16, 1877. GGG Granddad John Fulton died on or about September 12, 1877 married Rebecca ROSS FULTON (no dates on the marriage or her.) John's Will also mentions a brother who had already passed on, Andrew FULTON.

John and Rebecca had 6 children 3 boys and 3 girls according to St. Clair Ross FULTON's obituary.

Children listed in John's Will are as follows:
1. Son St. Clair Ross FULTON
2. Son John (middle initial possibly a K.) FULTON
3. Son Albert (middle initial possibly G.) FULTON
4. Dau Eliza FULTON CLARK (Husband possibly Isaac Clark who witnessed the will.)
5. Dau Mary I. FULTON
6. Daughter not mentioned in Will ???

GG Granddad St. Clair Ross FULTON born abt. June 23, 1842 or 1845. I have some conflicting info between the obituary written by a friend of his and his Actual Discharge papers from the Civil War. He died December 29, 1929. In 1870 he married Clara MORRIS. Clara became sick and died January 1895. St. Clair and Daughter Emma then moved

I am an adoptee and was told I was born in Hillsboro but my birth certificate says Greenfield. I can not find evidence of a hospital in either city. Is there a hospital in either town? I was delivered by a Dr. Kenneth Upp but can find no record of him either. Does anyone remember him or know how to locate him? Any info at all is GREATLY appreciated.

Looking for information on the family of Daniel OCKERMAN Jr. who moved to Highland County approximately 1820 with his family. Daniel Ockerman Sr. died between 1820 and 1826 here and probably had been a minister at Sinking Springs Brethren settlement. Daniel Jr. and Sr. wives names were both Elizabeth. Children of Daniel Sr. that were married in this time period were: Patsy who married an Isaac LANDESS on 8-4-1825, Barbara who married a Henry LANTZ on 6-23-1821, David who married Margaret KINZER on 8-29-1822. Another daughter Elizabeth was married to Samuel WORKMAN, she died in Highland County on 8-12-1861. If you have info on any of the familys please contact.
