OBITUARY

Alva Elenora Allen was born near Archie, Missouri, October 8th, 1873, and departed this life, July 22, 1937, at the age of 63 years, 9 months and 15 days. Her husband and neice, Mrs. Atwell Sherrill were with her at the time of her passing.

She was untied in marriage to J. L. Curlee; October 8th, 18891, at the home of her parents near Tamora, Illinois,. To this union was born one son, who died in infancy. She was converted and united with the Methodist church when a child, being a member of the Arnett church at the time of her death. She was a woman of deep convictions and was true to the ideals of a Christian.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Cook, of Seeser, Illinois; Mrs. Pearl Cook, of Lyons, Kansas; three brothers, J. C. McCann, Keenan, Oklahoma, G. E. King, Oklahoma City and T. l. King, Fairfax, Oklahoman and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted from the Mason Funeral home at Shattuck, Saturday afternoon Rev. F. D. Camp assisted by Rev. Grand officiating. The body was laid to rest in the Shattuck cemetery.
