Juanita Baker

Funeral services for Juanita Baker, 56 year old Woodward resident, were Saturday, Nov. 1, at 2:00 p.m. in the Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. David Holman and the Rev. Mrs. Katy Wolfington officiated. Interment was in the Gage Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Good Samaritan Funeral Service.

Dorlis Juanita Baker was born January 22, 1930, in Fargo to Chalres G. and Delia Fenimore. She grew up in Fargo and on July 6, 1947, she was married to Thad Moser and they made ther home in Woodward. Th this union was born a daughter, Naomi Joanne. Juanita worked for Safeway in Woodward and later in California. On November 12, 1967, she was married to Leon Baker and they made their home in Mountain View, Calif. They returned to Woodward one year ago.

She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

Mrs. Baker died October 29 in the Newman Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

She is survived by her husband, Leon of the home; a daughter Joanne Hardy of Gage, step-daughter, Virginia Baker of Tuttle; two brothers, Irvin Leroy Fenimore of Cupertino, Calif. and Marion Fenimore of Sand Springs; two sisters, Dorothy Lunden of Spokane, Wash., and Velda Dene Mills of Tuscon, Ariz.; two grandchildren and other relatives.
