Funeral services for Dorothy Bozarth, 78 year old Gage resident were held Monady, July 18, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church oin Gage. Mr. Justin Watts, officiated. Burial was in the Bozarth Cemetery in Laerne under the direction of Johnson's Good Samaritan Funeral Services in Shattuck.
Dorothy Bozarth was born August 26, 1926 in Touzalin to Thomas and Maybelle (Huffstedler) Manor. She was raised in Fargo and graduated from Fargo High School in 1946. On March 6, 1950 she married Eldon Lee Bozarth in Lipscomb, Texas. they livedin various communities before maing their home in Fargo and Gage.
Dorothy was a loving homemaker who was skilled in many ways. She would make toys for children and afghans for her grandchildren. She loved working in her vegetable garden and could do just about anything on the family farm. Dorothy lived every day for her family and let them know what they meant to her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister, Carrie, son-in-law Bob Bohnsack, and three grand-daughters, Carrie, Crystal and Elisha Bohnsack.
Survivors include two sons, Ernie Bozarth and hiw wife Kay of Gage; Ricky Bozarth and his wife Lisa of Woodward; two daughters, Elda Farrow and her husband Darvin of Gage; Alvie Watts and her husband Robert of Eolia, Missouri; one sister Bernice Rankin of Thousand Oaks, California; 11 grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
