Ruth Dolretta Bruce
SHATTUCK, Okla. - Ruth Dolretta Bruce, 79, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmie Linscott officiating. Cremation has taken place.
Mrs. Bruce grew up on a farm northwest of Shattuck. She worked at Newman Memorial Hospital for 18 years.
She married Leland Bruce in 1941. He preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Lanelle.
Survivors include three sons, Roy Bruce, Jack Bruce and James Bruce, all of Shattuck; a sister, Marjorie Shelton of Borger; a brother, Jimmie Linscott of Vernon, Texas; two grandsons; three great-grandsons; and a foster grandchild.
