Bill R. Burger

SPEARMAN - Bill R. Burger, 59, died Monday, July 15, 2002.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Ochiltree Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Sparks officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Mr. Burger was born March 18, 1943, in Shattuck, Okla. He was owner and operator of Plains Barber Shop. He was a member of Union Church of Spearman. He married Ruby Thompson on June 19, 1964, in Spearman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rube and Beulah Burger; a sister, Roberta; and a brother, Bobby Dean.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Bambi Rush and Neta Hill, both of Groesbeck; and four grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice.
