Lowell E. Burlin was born December 22, 1929 in Diasetta Texas to the late Henry and Stella (Davis) Burlin and had resided in Beaumont for the past 16 years. A member of Wesley United Methodist Church, he was a retired oilfield worker with Sun Oil Company. Mr. Burlin was a dual member of the Winnie-Stowell Lodge 1377 AF & AM and the F. B. Quicksall Lodge 1370 AF & AM and was an El Mina Shirner.
Lowell E. Burlin passed from this life on August 3, 2004.
He is survived by his wife Elva Burlin of Beaumont; one son, Mike Burlin of Mauriceville; daughters and sons-in-laws, Lana and Bob Burgtorf of Shattuck, Elaine and Elmer Ashcraft of Silsbee, Vanessa and Doug Ellis of Humble and Shirley and Osmay Robinson of Humble. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Jody Burlin, Tiffany Reid, L. R. Burgtorf, Chet Burgtorf, Marshall Burgtorf, and one great grandson, Caedmon Burgtorf. He is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Elva Renee' Ellis
