THE GAGE RECORD, GAGE, OKLAHOMA
THURSDAY DECEMBER 19, 1957
KILLED IN PLANE CRASH NEAR BORGER, TEXAS

Gus W. Carlile, jr., 20, and Jackie Lee Wilson 19, of Borger were killed Sunday near that City, when their small plane crashed in a pasture. Cause of the crash is unknown at this time, but investigations are being made.

The plane, owed by the Bunavista Flying Club, piloted by Carlile, crashed nosedown, but did not catch fire.

Wilson was reared at Shattuck and is the son of Mrs. Jennie Wilson of May and a brother of Mrs. Kenneth Davis of Arnett. He was a recent graduate of May high school, and is known by many in this vicinity.
