Harvey J. Chamberlin, 41 year old son-in-law of Mrs. and Mrs. Reo Weeks of Arnett, died in the Shattuck hospital, Saturday morning, April 12, 1947 from injuries received in the tornado at Higgins, Texas, Wednesday evening April 9th.
Mr. and Mrs. Chamberlin and family came here in January a year ago from North Platt, Nebraska, to assist Mr. And Mrs. Weeks with the operation of the Hatchery business at Arnett and Higgins. Mr. Chamberlin was formerly a minister at North Platt.
He is survived by his wife and five children, ranging in ages from 5-13 years.
Funeral services were conducted from the Christian church in Arnett, Tuesday afternoon and interment was made in the DeBolt cemerety north of Arnett.
