"Beyond the sound of weeping
Beyone the sight of tears
Our dear one rest forever
Thru Gods eternal years
Ah! Sad for us who linger
Where times slow shadows creep
And wait the call that giveth
To his beloved sleep.
Oh, blessed dead that sleepeth
So dreamlessly and deep
We would not break that slumber
Whose wakening means to weep
But safe with him forever
Who wipes all tears away
We trust our blessed sleeper
And wait and love and pray
Then rest, oh dear one rest thee
Boyond our clasp and kiss
Where hearts can feel no yearning
In a fairer world than this."
