MACK CRIDER DIES AT VALLEY CENTER, KANSAS

Mack Crider, 80-year old former resident of this county died Wednesday, July 19th, 1944 at the home of a sister at Valley Center, Kansas. Mr. Crider had a stroke of paralysis just one month to the day before the second and fatal stroke occurred.

Mr. Crider was one of a family of nine children, eight brothers and one sister. He is survived by the sister and four brothers. He came to Oklahoma and settled northeast of Arnett where he made his home until recent years, and has many friends in this section.

Funeral rites will be held Friday afternoon at Kechi, Kansas.

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Crider, left Thursday by bus for Valley Center and Kechi to attend brother Mack’s funeral.
