Graveside services for George H. Elmore, 94 year old Arnett resident, were Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Gage Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Rene Haines, pastor of the Arnett Apostolic Faith Church, officiated. Arrangements were by Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Shattuck.
George Harrison Elmore was born December 16, 1891, in Coffeyville, Kan. When he was a child his family homesteaded north of Arnett and he grew to manhood there. He served in the U. S. Army during W. W. I and on January 1, 1921, he was married to Myrel M. London. They made their home on the farm north of Arnett until 1974 when they moved into Arnett.
He was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church of Arnett.
Mr. Elmore diied October 26 in the Newman Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by a son, Bill, of Arnett; a sister, Lois Wilson of Denver, Colo.; a brother, Rufus T. Elmore of Clinton, and other relatives.
