Mrs. Nellie Girton, 65-year old Gage woman died suddenly from a heart attack, she was stricken while attending the Cash day drawing at Shattuck Tuesday.
Mrs. Girton was a pioneer of the Gage community, she and her husband Ernest Girton, homesteaded orth of Gage where they resided for many years before moving to Gage. Mr. Girton a Spanish-American war veteran, passed away about ten years ago.
Mrs. Girton is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Joe Harbinson, Mrs. Ed Funk, and Mrs. T. P. Fessler, all of near Gage.
Funeral rites for Mrs. Girton were conducted from the Baptist church in Gage Thursday afternoon and burial made in the Gage Cemetery.
