Martha Marian Henson was born June 20th, 1925, in Kansas City, Missouri, She fell asleep August 12th, 1937, at the age of 12 years, 1 month and 23 days.
While still an infant, she moved with her parents to Florida where they remained for two years before coming to make their home in Shattuck, Oklahoma.
At an early age Martha showed an unusual interest in things of religious nature. She was converted two years ago and united with the Christian church of Shattuck. Until her death, she was unceasing in her devotion to Christ and to His cause. Her victorious faith in the Risen Savior gave her the right to smile and rejoice during the last trying hours. Truly, "she loved everybody and everybody loved her."
She leaves behind, her devoted parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Henson,; a sister, Dorothy Sibyl Henson, age 15,; three grandparents, Mrs. And Mrs. G. E. Davison of Arnett, Oklahoma and Mrs. O. E. Henson of Ballwin, Kansas; many other relative and a host of friends
"She resteth now-No more her breast
Pain sits no long on the brow
Where lies the calm of death.
Sunk to her rest this tired child.
She lies in slumber deep,
Soft folded in the arm of Him
Who giveth His beloved sleep"
