Kenneth Wesley Jacoby was born March 7, 1946 at Shattuck, to Otis Calvin and Mary (Baxter) Jacoby. He gruw up in theGage area and graduated from the Gage High School in 9164. He served in the U. S. Army as medic in Germany from 1966 to 1968. Following his discharge he worked on a pipeling, then for ellis County and later as a Butcher at Bestway in Shattuck. He then became part owner of the Gage Locker and in 1997 went to work for Marlatt's Auto Supply (now Car Quest) in Woodward. On January 6, 1980 Ken was married to Pat Sober on the old Jacoby Homestead south of gage.He lovingly adopted Pat's two daughters and loved them as his own.
Besides his family, fishing was his passion. He was also an avid OU football fan.
He is surived by his wife, Pat,of thehome; two daughters, Jae J. an dhusband Tim Abbott of Shattuck, Dawn Ann Barnett and husband Joey of Yukon; five grandchildren, Kendon and Jalen Gaines, tanner, Trent and Tammy Abbott; a brother, Otis Jr. an wife Willa Dean of North Little Rock, Arkansas; a sister-in-law, Willa Dean Jacoby of Shattuck; on anut Katty Wolfington of Gage, other relatives and many friends.
