James C. McCool, 77 year old, pioneer citizen of Gage, passed away at the home south-east of that city, Monday, May 31st, following an illness of several days. Mr. McCool is liked and respected by everyone with whom he was acquainted. Besides the wife, he is survived by five children: one son, Ralph McCool; four daughters, Mrs. Alex Homoky, Mrs. Earl Barnes, Mrs. Herb Miller and Mrs. Pearl Maybee, several step-children and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for McCool were held in Gage, Wednesday and interment made in the Gage cemetery.
