Lavon Mellor died January 31, 2004 at Amarillo, Texas. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was born in Alva, Oklahoma. She married Walter S Mellor in 1938.
She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter Cheri Mellor.
She is survived by daughters Jane Sharp, Sharon Sauls and husband Ronald, all of Amarillo, Texas, 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
