Funeral services for Beulah Miles, 92 year old lifelong Gage resident was Thursday, August 19 at 11:00 A.M. at the Gage United Methodist Church. the Reverend Aaron Martin officiated. Interment was at the Gage Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Johnson's Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Shattuck.

Beulah Caroline Miles was born June 24, 1912 on the family homestead south of Arnett, to Charlie and Alice Allred)Glasgow. She graduated from the Gage High School and on June 2, 1936 was married to Lawrence J. Miles at Gage. Together they were members of the Shattuck Christian Church. They made their home on a farm southeast of Gage where they raised their three children. Mr. Miles died in 1985 and Beulah moved into Gage in 1995. For the past few months she has been staying a Pryor with her daughter.

Mrs. Miles died August 16, 2004 at the Mayes County Medical Center in Pryor.

She was also preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, her parents, two sisters and a brother.

She is survived by her two daughters, Vonda Henderson and her husband, Mike, of Oklahoma City and Wilda Townsend of Pryor; a son and his wife, Nick and Sue Miles of Tulsa; seven grandchildren, Vance Beagles and Wife Laura of Dallas, Michelle Greene and husband Kit, Jeff Henderson and wife Susan all of Oklahoma City, Greg Henderson of Noxbury, NY, Shannon Townsend of Tulsa, Christy Debo and husband Louis of Pryor, Nicole Hamby and husband Kenny of Oolagah; thirteen great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, three nephews, two nieces, and other relatives.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Gage and Fargo Senior Citizens Centers.
