Elva May Polin
Northwest Okalhoman

Elva May Polin was born on April 22, 1898, the daughter of John and Estella Marsh.

In 1901 the family moved from Iowa to Oklahoma territory.

On October 6, 1920, she was united in marriage to Marvin Polin. They had two children, Mildred and Charlie.

She was preceeded in death by her husband Marvin in 1980 and son Charlie in 1923.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mildred and Gene Barth, two grandaughters and their husbands, Shirley and Gary Wieser, and Vicki and John Harger; four great-grandchildren, Heather and Heath Harger and Wendy and Holly Wieser, one sister, Bessie Casey; several sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, March 15, 1985 by Rev. Daniel E. Eischen, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Shattuck under the direction of Mason Funeral Home.
