Miss Liddie Shaw, aged 27, departed this life April 11, 1906, at the home of her brother, Charles Shaw, near Ocate. She had been a long and patient suffer of consumption, yet her death was quite unexpected and a shock to her relatives and friends. Her parents and several brothers survive her. Bro. Dainwood preached the funeral at the home and the remains were laid to rest at the Sod Church cemetery.
