Mrs. J. J. Henry was called to Chico, California this week by the death of her brother, Claude Shreve who has been ill for the past two years from injuries sustained when he was crushed beneath his tractor while leveling ground for irrigation. He has had several bone operations on his lower limbs and has been patient and optimistic about his condition.
Mr. Shreve is a son of the late, Mrs. Mary Shreve and formerly resided in and near Arnett. He is also a brother of Walter Shreve, of Arnett. Other survivors include his wife the former Miss Mollie Emmons of Arnett and their children.
