Mrs. Ella J. Stephens Dead.
After a lingering illness of nearly a year, Mrs. Ella J. Stephens, wife of John R. Stephens, living three miles east of town, died Saturday, age 47 years, 8 months and 1 day. The funeral was conducted by Rev. W. A. Davis at the home on Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock after which the remains were followed to the grave by a large concourse of sympathizing friends. Interment was made at the I. O. O. F. cemetery with befitting tribute to the noble life that had passed to the Great Beyond.
She leaves a husband and three children to mourn her untimely end.
