Sara Leona Stout, 91, passed away July 3, 2003. She was born April 26, 1912 in Oakwood, Oklahoma to William and Emma Eudora (Fisher) Shelton. Her family moved to Arnett, Oklahoma, in 1916. She also lived at Harmon, Oklahoma, for a few years, but moved back to Arnett until 1995 when she moved to Del City.
On January 10, 1931, she married Charles Edwin Stout and to this union were born three children, Joan Stout, Charles Terry Stout and Jack R. Stout.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and gardening. Mrs. Stout was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Joan; and husband, Charles Stout; brother: Donald, Floyd, Ray and Clovis; sisters: Maretha Heinsohn, Oma Stow and Lyda McCarter.
She is survived by her sons and their wives; Terry and Linda Stout of Midwest City, Jack and Ruby Stout of Woodward, Okla., brother: Tom Shelton and wife, Bobby Jo, of Del City and sister; Lora Vella Shahan of Del City; five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren also survived her. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2003, at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel with committal at 4:00 p.m. at DeBolt Cemetery in Arnett, Okla.
