C. E. Terpening Taken to the St. Francis Hospital From His Home Near Shattuck.
Wichita—C. E. Terpening was brought to the St. Francis hospital this morning suffering from an injury he received by being kicked by a horse. His condition was very critical and he is not expect4d to live.
Mr. Terpening’s home is near Shattuck, OK. He was kicked in the stomach by a horse. An operation was performed upon the injured man this afternoon. The hospital authorities could give but little hope for his recovery.
LATER—C. E. Terpening died Tuesday night.
