Lillie Baker, oldest daughter of John and Mary Baker was born at Herington, May 1898 and died Friday mourning June the 20th, with blood poison at her home south of Shattuck. She was 23 years old 1 month and 2 days.
In Sept. 1915 she was married to Karl Uplander. To this union two children were born the youngest, a baby three weeks old.
Besides the immediate family she leaves a host of relatives and friends to morn her departure.
