MARCH 14, 1913

William Elbert Weber, of Peek Oklahoma, died at Siloam Springs, Arkansas, February 27th, 1913, where he had went for treatment, he died of valular disease of the heart.

He was born on the 28th, day of May 1864, at Irving, Illinois, aged 28 years, 8 months and 26 days.

He came to Oklahoma in 1909 and located on a claim near Peek, where on the 26th, day of September 1910 he was married to Miss Gracie Laney, of Lonebell, Okla.

He was a truly devoted husband and father until the death angel visited their happy home, and took him from this earth to a happier home above. His remains were brought back to his home by his father father-in-law, J. W. Laney, where funeral services were conducted, and the remains were laid to rest in the Lonebell cemetery.

He leaves a wife one son, mother and two brothers and relatives to mourn his loss.

"A Little mound of earth,
Is all the land I own,
Death gave it me six feet by three,
And marked it with a stone.

My home my garden ground,
Where most I long to go;
The ground is mine by right divine
And heaven will have it so.

For here my darling sleeps,
Unseen arrayed in white
And o'er the grass the breezes pass,
And stars look down at night.

Here beauty, love and joy
With him in silence dwell;
As eastern slaves are thrown in graves of Kings
Remembered well, But here let no man come.

My morning rights to sever;
Who lieth here is cold and dumb.
His dust if mine forever."
