Mary Fritzler White, daughter of Victor G. and Edull (Mclemore) Fritzler, was born July 1, 1939 in Shattuck, Oklahoma.
She graduated from Shattuck High School in 1956 and attended Oklahoma State University before uniting in marriage to Jerry White in 1959 and moving to Oklahoma City. From that union, one child was born Mel C. White.
Mary worked in various office administrative jobs throughout her live, she devoted her time and her talent to her painting and art, and to the raising of her son the the care of her parents.
In the past few years, ill health and emphysema limited her activities, but she continued to enjoy her family, her cousin Kay Winters Herman and Kay's children and grandchildren.
Mary passed from this life on November 25, 2002, at Ranchwood Nursing Center in Yukon, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, brother, and her ex-husband Jerry White. She is survived by her son, Mel C. White, her cousin Kay Winters Herman and a host of family who knew and loved her as "Cousin Mary."
Interment and graveside services were held Wednesday, November 27, 2002, at 2:30 p.m. at the Shattuck Memorial Cemetery under the auspices of Mason Funeral Home, Shattuck, with Rev. Lenn Murray of the United Methodist Church officiating.
