Opal Loretta (Wayland) Woods

Opal Lorettaa Wayland was born October 12th 1922, on a farm near Arnett, Oklahoma and departed this life September 30th 1932 at the age of twenty years eleven months and twelve days.

She was converted and united with the Tierce Chapel M. E. church outh at an early age. She was always active in Sunday school, Epworth League and other church affairs. She was a graduate of the Arnett High school, where she was a member of the baskceball team. After graduating she taught one term of school at the Packsaddle school house.

She ws married July 26th, 1931, to Stacy A. Woods, to this union was born one son, Eugene Harold. She was a kind and considerate wife. Loved by all who knew her, cheerful through all hersuffering, fearing not for her own life as she often said that she was ready and willing to go. She leaves to mourn her going, her husband, Stacy A. Woods, and baby, Eugene Haorld, father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Logan Wayland, two borhters, Harold and Harley, and one sister Ruth; and a host of friends and relatives. One sister, Clariece Cordell, preceeded her in death.
