July 1st the following will become money order postoffice: Leon, Miles, Dowson and Needmore in the Indian Territory; Brown, Carville, Deer Creek, Owen, Round Grove, Seiling, Shelly and Thurston in Oklahoma.
A Pittsburg & Gulf train was held up near Poteau, I. T., last night. The robbers secured five dollars from the express messenger and one registered letter.
George W. Clark was arrested in Perry yesterday on a warrant sworn out by Best, the Guthrie music dealer, who charges that Clark embezzled the sum of $65 from him. Clark was brought in today by Sheriff Rinehart.
Dr. J. A. Hooe, a once well to do physician of Perry, is in the clutches of Uncle Sam, charged with selling liquor to Osage Indians.
