This Indenture, Made this 27 th day of November A. D. 1915 between J. B. Gooch and Fannie M. Gooch his wife of Logan County, in the State of Oklahoma, parties of the first part and Lawrie Baptist Church party of the second part.
Witnesseth, That the said parties of the first part, in consideration of the sum of One Dollars, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do by these presents, grant, bargain, sell and convey unto said parties of the second part its sucessors (?) and assigns, all of the following described real property and premises, situated in the County of Logan, and State of Oklahoma, to-wit: One acre located in the Northeast Corner of the Southeast quarter of Section 7, Township 17 Range 2 West, less sixteen feet square beginning sixty feet west from the Northeast Corner of said acre then South Sixteen feet, thence West sixteen feet, thence North Sixteen fet, thence each sixteen (?).
It is hereby agreed that the above tract of land shall be used for church purposes only and inform failure to be used for such purposes same to revert to (?).
To take and to hold the same, Together with all and singular the improvements, tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining forever.
And said Grantors for themselves and their heirs, executors or administrators, do hereby covenant, promise and agree to and with the said parties of the second part, that at the delivery of these presents they lawfully seized in their own right of an absolute and indefeasable estate of inheritance, in fee simple, of and in all and singular the above granted and described premises, with the appurtenances, that the same are free, clear, discharged and unincumbered of and from all former and all other grants, titles, charges, estate, judgements, taxes, assessments and incumbrances of what nature or kind whatsoever, except and that will warrant and forever defend the same unto said parties of the second part their heirs, and assigns, against said party of the first part, their heirs, and all and every person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same.
