Big Liquor Cache

is Seized Saturday by Guthrie Police

A whiskey raid by city police shortly after noon Saturday netted 27 fifths and 80 pints of whiskey, the largest haul made here in several years.
Also seized were seven fifths of scotch and 8 fifths of gin.
Arrested was Dee ....., 100 block W. Harrison, who was charged with possession of intoxicating liquor. He was released on payment of $20 bond.
The cache of liquor was found in a double garage in the alley behind the address, and was taken directly to the vault in the sheriff's vault.
Making the raid were Capt. Charley Noble, Lt. Harold Shultz, Sgt. Dale Orndorff and Patrolman Hoppy Chandler.
