BE IT REMEMBERED, that heretofore to-wit on the 29th day of May A. D. 1924, the same being a day of the May A. D., 1924 Term of the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, the following proceedings were had in the above entitled cause, by said United States District Court, the HON. JOHN H. COTTERAL, presiding as appears of record in my office, to-wit:

The Prisoner, Emmett Roberts, having been indicted and arraigned and having entered a plea of guilty of the crime of Violation of National Prohibition Act and Section 37 Penal Code, and the cause coming before the Court in open session this 29th day of May, A. D. 1924, upon motion of James A. Ingraham, Assistant, U. S. District Attorney, for sentence upon said Emmett Roberts, upon the plea of guilty heretofore entered in said cause, Defendant being present in Court in person, and the said Emmett Roberts being asked by the Court to show cause, if any he hath, why the sentence of the law should not be pronounced, and the said Emmett Roberts failing to show any legal cause why the sentence of the law should not be pronounced;
IT IS THEREFORE CONSIDERED, ORDERED AND ADJUDGED, as the sentence of the law, by the Court pronounced, that the said defendant, Emmett Roberts for the crime by him committed as charged in the first count in the indictment, pay a fine unto the United States in the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), and in default thereof stand committed to the Logan County Jail at Guthrie, Oklahoma, until said fine is paid, or, until released by due process of law. And it is further
CONSIDERED, ORDERED AND ADJUDGED, as the sentence of the law, by the Court pronounced, that the said defendant, Emmett Roberts for the crime by him committed as charged in the second count in the indictment, pay a fine unto the United States in the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), and in default thereof stand committed to the Logan County Jail at Guthrie, Oklahoma, until said fine is paid, or, until released by due process of law. And it is further
CONSIDERED, ORDERED AND ADJUDGED, as the sentence of the law, by the Court pronounced, that the said defendant, Emmett Roberts for the crime by him committed as charged in the third count in the indictment, be imprisoned in the Logan County Jail at Guthrie, Oklahoma, and confined for the term of Three (3) Months from this date, or, until released by due process of law.
And it is further ordered that the Marshal of said District transport the said Emmett Roberts to said Logan County Jail and deliver him to the keeper of the said Logan County Jail, and that said keeper detain the said Emmett Roberts according to the foregoing sentence, and that the Clerk of said Court immediately certify under the Seal of said Court, and deliver to the Marshal of said District, two copies of this Sentence, Judgement and Order, one to accompany the body of the said Emmett Roberts and be left therewith at the said Logan County Jail, and the other copy to be warrant and authority for the transportation and imprisonment of the said Emmett Roberts as hereinbefore provided, and upon which said Marshal shall make due return.

I, Harry L. Finley, Clerk of the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, do hereby certify that the within and foregoing contains a full, true, and complete copy of the Sentence, Judgement, and Order, entered in the case of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, vs. Emmett Roberts, No.   4084, under date of May 29, 1924, as the same appears of Record in my office.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I thereunto subscribe my name and affix
the seal of said United States District Court, at my office in Guthrie,
in said District, this 29th day of May A. D. 1924
