Now on this 1st day of August, 1930, Jim Guthrie above named defendant appears before the bar of the above entitled court for sentence and represents to the court that he is ready for sentence to be passed
The State of Oklahoma is present by Harry F. Blake County Attorney, and the Defendant is present in person and thereupon said defendant is duly and legally arranged in open court.
The Court thereupon finds that the defendant Jim Guthrie, was tried in the above named court before a jury of six men, upon the crime of possession of whiskey mash, and was found by said jury to be guilty of said offence against the State of Oklahoma, the penalty being 30 days in the Logan County jail and to pay a fine of $50.00. Thereupon the defendant by his counsel, John Anderson, asks that sentence be deferred to the first Monday in July and it was ordered by the court that sentence be deferred to the first Monday in July.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that the said defendant, Jim Guthrie, is guilty as charged in the information and as punishment therefore he pay to the State of Oklahoma, a find (sic) in the sum of $50.00, and in addition to said fine, be imprisoned in the County Jail of Logan County for a period of 30 days, and that he pay the costs of this prosecution taxed in the sum of $26.35, and in default of payment of such fine and costs, that he be imprisoned in the County Jail in addition to said fine, one day for each additional unpaid $1.00 of such fine and costs, and the Clerk is hereby ordered to issue Commitment in accordance herewith.
